Creating Places for health and well-being
Videos, reading and training for local authorities and neighbourhood groups.
How to use evidence, design codes and co-design to support sustainability, public health, well-being and popular places
The Create Streets Foundation has launched the Creating Places programme to help local authorities and neighbourhood groups achieve better, more popular outcomes in local plans and neighbourhood plans. It summarises years of research and practical ‘on-the-ground’ experience into a programme of free videos and action-orientated, cost-price training modules. Creating Places sets out the evidence on healthy and popular places and explains how to use design codes, co-design workshops, visual preference surveys and digital planning to create them.
